How Exchange Rates Work
VaultSio uses real-time exchange rates to convert foreign currency transactions and account balances into your base currency. Rates update automatically — no manual input needed.
When Rates Update
Exchange rates refresh each time you open the app with an active internet connection. Your converted totals on the Overview and Analytics screens always reflect recent rates.
Historical Transactions
For past transactions, VaultSio stores the converted value at the time you added it. This keeps historical records stable even as exchange rates change over time.
💡 Tip: If a converted balance seems off, check your internet connection — rate updates require connectivity to refresh.
