What Are Accounts in VaultSio?
Accounts represent the places where your money lives — your cash wallet, checking account, savings account, credit card, or any other financial vehicle. You can create as many accounts as you need, each with its own currency and balance.
Adding an Account
Go to Accounts
Tap Settings → Accounts or access Accounts from the Overview screen by tapping the account name at the top.
Tap Add Account
Tap the + button to open the Add Account form.
Enter account details
Give the account a name (e.g. "Chase Checking"), choose an icon and colour, and set the currency and starting balance.
Save
Tap Save. The account now appears on your Overview and is available when adding transactions.
💡 Tip: Set the starting balance equal to your real current account balance so your Overview total is accurate from day one.
Switching Between Accounts
On the Overview screen, swipe left or right on the account selector chip at the top to switch between accounts. The income, expense, and balance figures update to reflect the selected account.
